A leading international specialist contractor delivering complex data centre packages across Europe is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a €20m external envelope package consisting of roofing, cladding, and façade works on a hyperscale data centre project in Austria.
 

This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full responsibility for planning, coordinating, and driving delivery of one of the project’s most critical work packages. The company is renowned for high-quality engineering, strong financial backing, and delivering world-class results for global tech clients.
 

Ideal for a PM with strong envelope, façade, roofing, or cladding experience on large industrial or technically demanding schemes.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full roofing & cladding package (€20m) from planning to handover
• Oversee subcontractors, site teams, QA/QC, safety, and programme delivery
• Drive progress, sequencing, installation quality, and performance
• Coordinate with main contractor, design teams, and wider site stakeholders
• Review and approve drawings, installation details, and technical submissions
• Manage procurement, logistics, and material delivery schedules
• Lead progress meetings and provide weekly reporting
• Resolve technical challenges quickly to maintain programme certainty
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and spec requirements
 

About You

• Strong background in roofing, cladding, façade, or external envelope packages
• 5–10+ years Project Manager experience on large construction, industrial, or mission-critical projects
• Data centre experience beneficial but not essential
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive delivery on fast-paced jobs
• Strong communication, organisation & stakeholder management skills
• EU passport or right to work in the EU
• Available for site-based work in Austria
